Starring in the highest-grossing movie in the world will open a lot of doors for you. Actor Sam Worthington, the star of “Avatar” is finding himself in high demand these days.
For one of his next projects, the Australian actor will star in Alex Proyas’ “Dracula Year Zero,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie explores the origin of Dracula, weaving vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad the Impaler. It seeks to depict Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war.
Worthington will also appear in the Helen Mirren thriller “The Debt”, and his next role is Greek hero Perseus in the remake of “Clash of the Titans”.

Shiny things make me all warm and fuzzy.
With all the impaling due to happen during the course of the film, I'm going to need the sparkle to distract me from the funny feeling that I've seen the Dracula story a dozen times before.
