For the final season of “Lost,” Damon Linedelof and Carleton Cuse are lining up a lot of familiar faces.
What follows is minor SPOILER material, but if you don’t want to know anything about the sixth season, please stop reading now….
We already know that Juliet, Boone, Shannon and Eco will make an appearance during the final season. Now, Lindelof and Cuse have confirmed that actors Harold Perrineau and Cynthia Watros will reprise their roles as Michael and Libby during the sixth season.
“So finally your Libby questions will be answered,” said Cuse, referring to the character’s enigmatic — and incomplete — backstory. “No, they will not,” joked Lindelof.
Perrineau, who played put-upon single dad Michael Dawson, left the cast at the end of Season 2 after Michael shot and killed Ana Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez) and Libby (Watros) before leaving the island. Michael returned briefly in Season 4 long enough to redeem himself, with the help of a spectral Libby. Michael is believed to have died in the freighter explosion.

anyone else concerned that Desmond's not in the last supper picture? I really want him to be an at least semi-major player this season.
