It appears that delay could be a minimal one.
TV Guide On-Line reports that Sam Mendes in discussions with the studio to direct Daniel Craig as the legendary spy 007.
The untitled film may start shooting as soon as June for a 2011 release, the trade paper reports.
Mendes is an Oscar-winner for his work on “American Beauty” and has directed a number of independent films in recent year.s
