The more news we hear about the upcoming “Men in Black 3,” the more I think they should have just left the franchise at two movies… (Or maybe just one.)
The latest buzz around Hollywood is that Sony could replace actor Tommy Lee Jones in the upcoming “Men in Black 3.” The actor, who played K in the first two films, would be replaced in the role by “Jonah Hex” star Josh Brolin.
Whether or not Jones would appear to hand-off the identity of K to Brolin is unclear and some reports indicate that Brolin could appear in a flashback as a younger version of the Tommy Lee Jones verison of K.
There’s no word yet on exactly how or if Brolin would be cast in the series. He could join the team in the movie.
So far, the movie hasn’t got a green light and while a script is in the works, there’s no timetable for production. A lot of the timetable for this movie will depend on star Will Smith’s availability.

Meh.
Do we really need a Men In Black 3?
No, we don't. MiB2 wasn't even worth making. And quite frankly, it might have been better if they had left K in retirement.
Actually, I think the animated series gave the franchise the best closure it could.
If Josh Brolin were to play a completely new character then MIBIII would definately be worth watching.
