The BBC has signed off for a third season of its reimagined version of the King Arthur legend, “Merlin.”
The series has been a solid performer for the BBC with ratings rising by 9% this season in the United Kingdom.
The series just finished its second series with solid ratings and good critical and fan buzz, making a third series a near slam-dunk.
American fans got to see the first series on NBC last summer. There’s no word yet on if we’ll get to see the second series in the U.S. any time soon or where it might air.

Well, that's just great. It was a show both me and the wife enjoyed here in the States. I was hoping they would show the next season over the summer. Oh well, maybe we'll get it on BBC America in a few years.
