If you bought a Nintendo Wii or DS to give to someone this holiday season, you’re not alone.
The game publisher told USA Today that is sold 1.5 million units of its Wii and DS gaming system during the week of Thanksgiving. And you can probably bet that a lot of those were part of Black Friday sales promotions.
During that time frame, which includes Black Friday, Nintendo sold 550,000 Wiis in the U.S.
The sales broke a record set in October of this year for sales of Ninetendo’s game systems.
