Anderson Wants To Direct A Movie In Space

November 5, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: Film News

Visionary director Wes Anderson wants to not only direct a movie about “the final frontier” but in the final frontier.

Access Hollywood reports that Anderson would like to see a movie filmed in space in his future.

“I’d like to do a movie in space,” Wes told AccessHollywood.com at the Hollywood premiere of his latest film, the animated Roald Dahl adaptation “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” “If possible I would like to try to actually shoot some of it on location in space. That’s my preference.”

Anderson didn’t have any details about the film, but he did say his next project would be an original work and not an adaptation like “Fox.”
