The CW’s new hit series “The Vampire Diaires” has been given the nod for a full season, according to EW’s Michael Ausiello.
Citing solid ratings and good demographic numbers in a competitive Thursdya time-slot the CW has given the freshman drama a full-season order.
In related news, Ausiello reports that a major death is coming for the Novembe sweeps period on the show. Ausiello hinted that the character shuffling off this mortal coil would be a female regular cast member.
