October 22, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

roucheActor Sebastian Roche has signed on for a recurring role on Fox’s “Fringe.”

Details of the role are being kept under wraps, but the Hollywood Reporter indicates Roche will play a soldier from another dimension who is not quite human/not quite machine, trying to gather information for opening a stable door to the other side.

According to details, the role Roche plays is an adversarial one.

Roche will replace Thomas Kretschmann, who was originally cast as the super-spy and appeared in the Oct. 8 episode but couldn’t recur because of a scheduling conflict.

It’s nice to see Sebastian Roche doing sci-fi again. I thought he was great on “Odyssey 5″.

What about the hot FBI agent that wasn’t weirded out by the strangeness? How about some more of her.

Roche is a great actor. First saw him in the show ROAR starring Heath Ledger.

I highly recommend the show Odyssey 5, a truly great show.
