While people may not be watching “The Vampire Diaries” and “Fringe” live, they are watching.
The latest figures for DVR viewing show gains of 30% for both shows.
“Diaries” rose 31% in viewership and “Fringe” rose 30% according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The numbers compare shows’ “live-plus-same-day” ratings (which really should just be called “live-plus-same-night” for sake of clarity …
Also, these numbers are for the week before the big premiere week, so the numbers may be slightly lower in the weeks to come. It also will explain why we don’t have DVR numbers yet for “Dollhouse” (which may be its last, best hope).
