J.J. Abrams is a hot property in Hollywood these days and getting hotter all the time.
Last week, his new series about a husband and wife spy team was shopped to the networks, with a bidding war erupting between ABC, NBC and CBS for the show.
The winner appears to be NBC, who according to the Hollywood Reporter is close to a deal for the show. The series is part of Abrams’ new development deal with Warner Brothers.
The series, which takes Abrams backs to his “Alias” roots a bit, is the third series to come out of the development deal with Warner Brothers. The first is “Fringe” and the second is a half-hour comedy that was shopped and snapped up earlier this year.

Sounds like that movie with Brangelina, Mr & Mrs Smith?
