Walt Disney Pictures has released the title for the upcoming fourth installment of the “Pirate of the Caribbean” franchise. The new title will be “Pirate of the Caribbean: On Strange Tides.”
Actor Johnny Depp broke the news over the weekend at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. Depp appeared in full costume as his character, Captain Jack Sparrow.
Depp is reprising his role as Sparrow for the film, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2011.
