September 11, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: Gaming

At a recent press conference, game maker Square Equinox confirmed that a thirteenth “Final Fantasy” game will be released in Japan later this year.

Company president Yoichi Wada said that Final Fantasy XIII, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 in Japan, will be released on December 17 for 8,800 yen. That’s about $95.

The company is aiming for an international release this spring for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I haven’t played this for a while. I’m a bit worried that it’s just like others and that it hasn’t really progressed from previous versions. i.e. the game’s a bit linear and the plot’s like something a 9 year old might come up with, or is it much better than that now?
