Mark your calendars for December 17, 2010.
Walt Disney Studios confirmed that is the date the highly-anticipated movie, “Tron Legacy” will open in theaters.
The follow-up to the 1982 cult classic is directed by Joseph Kosinski, who is making his feature debut with the film. Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner return from the first film, which was released in the summer of 1982. Bridges and Boxleitner will be joined by Garrett Hedlund, Michael Sheen, John Hurt, Olivia Wilde, James Frain and Beau Garrett.
The release date will be a jammed one for the holiday season of 2010. Also scheduled to open that day are “The Green Hornet,” “The Smurfs” and “Yogi Bear.”
Wow. A "The Smurfs" movie, huh?
Let me see, it'll either be live action with CGI smurfs, or 3-D animated... I'll be skipping it.
