If you missed seeing “Star Trek” in IMAX and have been kicking yourself ever since, you’ll get a second chance starting this weekend.
Paramount is bringing back the big-screen reboot to 100 IMAX theaters reports Variety.
But you’d better get your tickets soon. The IMAX run will only be two weeks long. The two week return is to make up for the fact that the initial run was cut short by the opening of “A Night at the Museum 2.” In most cases, IMAX films run a month in the IMAX theater. Due to scheduling conflicts, “Star Trek” only ran two weeks.
I’ve seen the movie in both formats and if you missed it in IMAX and can see it, it’s worth every penny.
