On last week’s Slice of SciFi, we told you about the workouts the actresses in Zac Snyder’s “Sucker Punch” were undergoing to get ready for filming.
Now comes news of another actor joining the upcoming project–the star of AMC’s award-winning series, “Mad Men,” Jon Hamm.
Hamm will play High Roller in the upcoming movie. Beyond that, there are no details on the character.
Hamm joins Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Carla Gugino in the 1950s-set tale of a girl (Browning) confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. She and her friends enter an alternate reality where they begin planning an escape.
Hamm was part of last year’s remake of “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”
