Report Indicates Over Half of X-Box Systems Fail
If you’re an X-Box gamer and you’ve experienced the red ring of death, odds are you aren’t alone. A new survey by Game Informer magazine finds that the systems fail 54.2% of the time. To add insult to injury, those who have their system repaired find that it fails 41.2%.
The results came from a survey of 5000 Game Informer readers.
The survey also found that X-Box users are far more likely to experience technical issues with their systems than users of the Playstation 3 or the Wii. Results indicate that Playstation 3s fail 10.6% of the time and Wiis fail 6.8% of the time.
