ABC Sets Premiere Date for “V”

On this week’s Slice of SciFi, we brought you news that producers for the ABC’s “V” were working on re-editing the pilot episode, screened last month at Comic Con.  If you want to know more about the editing, tune into this week’s show for more details.

Today we have even more great details for “V” fans.

ABC has set a premiere date for the series.  During the alphabet network’s prsesentation for the TCA, ABC announced the new series will debut on November 3 at 8 p.m. EST.

The series, which focuses on the world’s first encounter with a presumed friendly alien race, stars  Elizabeth Mitchell as FBI counter terrorism agent Erica Evans. She is the first to discover that, beneath the skin of the strange Visitors (or Vs), there lies something more sinister than anyone imagined.

Evans’ son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), sees the Vs as an opportunity to make mankind unite with a common goal while news anchor Chad Decker (Scott Wolf) wants to advance his career by getting an exclusive interview with the aliens’ leader, Anna (Morena Baccarin).

    I just saw the preview for this remake. I am excited to see how it was done and I will be tuning in. My only hope is that they actually finish it this time around. If my memory serves me correctly, they left the original V watchers hanging.
