While the Emmys may have failed to recognize more than the technical work on the recently wrapped genre-series, “Battlestar Galactica,” the series did pick up a number of accolades at the Television Critics Awards. The series took the top honor and was named the program of the year at the awards cermony over the weekend.
HBO’s “True Blood” also took home the award for outstanding new program and actor Jim Parsons won a TCA for his work as Sheldon on “The Big Bang Theory.”
