The teaser trailer for “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” is on-line at Moviefone.
The trailer doesn’t reveal much about the story but will give viewers their first look at the title character, played by Logan Lerman.
The movie is directed by Christopher Columbus and will open in theaters on Febuary 12, 2010.
I read the book, and pretty much enjoyed it. This trailer? Yeah, I think I’ll like the movie too.
I have read the book too, and it is a great series. But, the casting choices are just horrible. I mean the girl playing Annabeth is 23 in real life. And, the actor playing Percy is 17 in real life (which is pushing it but, im ok with it cause Logan Lerman is really cute). In the books, Percy and Annabeth are supposed to be WAYYYY younger and I think this casting might just mess up the whole movie for me.
BTW: the girl who is playing Annabeth has brunette hair, in the book she has blonde. WTF?
Hopefully, they can make the movie look good due to the fact that the actors/actresses are 10 years older than they are suppose to be.

Peru Jackson and the Olympians? Eh? What’s the point in making them way way WAY older anyway? Stupid director heprobably didn’t realize… I wish They were the right age next thing you know Artemis will be 30! I wish I could be in the film I mean I’m welsh but I’m great at accents! I bet when they finish doing all the movies percy who’s really cute will be like 40!
