A couple of years ago, a proposed television series based on the 80s hit movie “Teen Wolf” was proposed. The idea ended up not making it to pilot or series, but it appears the idea didn’t go entirely extinct.
According to io9, MTV is considering a series based on “Teen Wolf.” And to bring the series to life on the small screen, they’ve enlisted the help of former “DS9” writer Rene Echevarria, former “Prison Break” writer Marty Adelstein and “Criminal Minds” writer, Jeff Davis.
The new series would have a “greater emphasis on romance, horror and werewolf mythology” Variety reports.
No word yet on if the series would replace the proposed big-screen reboot of “Teen Wolf.”
