“Reaper” Creators Move to “Dollhouse”

June 22, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, creators of the CW’s recently deceased “Reaper,” have joined the writing staff of Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” for its second season, according to the Onion A.V. Club.

Maurissa Tancharoen, a writer for “Dollhouse” broke the news via Twitter, saying, “Fazekas and Butters are in D-house and they’re awesome.”

Fazekas and Butters signed a new exclusive deal with 20th Century Fox recently. Part of the deal is development of new series for Fox. However, in a deal like this, it’s not unusual for the writers to join the staff on an already existing property while they develop and pitch their own ideas.

No word yet on if the writing duo might be included on the “Dollhouse” panel at this year’s upcoming ComicCon.
