Fox Addresses Lara Croft Rumors

June 22, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: Film News

Actress Megan Fox denied that she’s signed on to play video-game icon Lara Croft in the upcoming proposed “Tomb Raider” reboot.

While doing promotion for this week’s debut of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” Fox denied that she’s been cast as the new generation of Lara Croft and that she’d take over the role originally brought to life on screen by Angelina Jolie.

“I think that’s a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her,” Fox said.

Of course, this denial doesn’t assume that the producers couldn’t find the right incentive for the actress (translation: how many Brinks trucks full of cash will be required to get her to take the role).
