After upsetting “Up” for the box office crown last weekend, “The Hangover” continued to hang on to the top spot at the box office this weekend. The comedy took in $33.4 million over the weekend, pushing the movie to over the $100 million mark in ten days. Not bad for an R-rated comedy.
Meanwhile, Disney’s “Up” continued to soar with just over $30 million in box office receipts.
The only new entry into the top ten was “The Taking of Pelham 123″ in third.
“Night at the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian” was fourth and “Land of the Lost” rounded out the top five.
