NBC has opted to delay the official decision on its fall series picks until this morning’s infront presentation and it could be even longer before series on the bubble get a renewal or cancellation notice, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
And, yes, that decision means we won’t know the future of “Chuck” after the infront presentations this morning. In fact, the decision on “Chuck” could not come until later this month. The same fate awaits long-running series, “Law and Order.”
NBC did give the nod to new seasons for “Southland” and “Medium.” While it’s good news for “Medium,” the renewal of both could be danger for “Chuck.” Both series got 13 episode pick-ups.
NBC was negotiating with several other potential returning series as of this report.
