Welcome to the mid-week installment of Slice of SciFi! On today's show, we talk to Salli Richardson-Whitfield. You probably know her best from her role as Dr. Allison Blake on SyFy's Eureka. Salli is also a guest at the upcoming Phoenix Comicon, so if you're in the area why don't you stop by and say hello! And you can also catch some of the Slice crew there as well.

Yeah ok here goes then, well i remember voyage to the bottom of the sea, was without little doubt in my mind well a head of it's time, gosh what a treat it was at the time for me and my brothers, considering how young we where, but it pleased all ages with it' brilliant story lines and great actors, to bring it to life, a reality beyond most imaginations with it's clever special effets making it so credible. Why the hell won't they remake all those programs again, it beats me why they won't, they would rather put out crap rather than re-worked voyage to the bottom of the sea, time tunnel, land of the giants, lost in space, why oh why won't the tv people re make these old classis and capture a brand new audience, hmmm, maybe one day.
