Seriously, this is what they decided to go with? It's ugly! I guess they're not trying to entice anyone in who already didn't really want to go. Blech...
You know, that's exactly what I thought. Here we are -- rebooting a franchise -- and we're introduced to the latest Rorschach test right out of the gate? Usually, Trek's only this ambiguous in the odd numbered films, though, so maybe that's the vibe JJ wanted.
Well, if you're going by just the *number* of films out there, this would be number 13....
I love the new poster. Enterprise at warp in abstract....very cool!
Trek movie has all the international posters, and my personal favourite is the UK variant:

It didn't really impress me. Does this mean I'm going to have to watch minutes of pretty clouds again?
I think I like the UK and then the German ones better. Does the Uhura character have that big a role that they put her on instead of McCoy who I'm guessing has been demoted in importance in this iteration?
It's... a big blur.
o.O
For me, it took looking at some of those other posters that Bronzethumb pointed to, to realize this one is of the enterprise going in reverse!
I like it. Don't know why though.
