I was among the skeptics when I first heard about this, but after seeing the trailer, I'm intrigued. I just hope this doesn't ruin my childhood memories, and I also hope they can find a way to promote this internationally, so I can see this in the theatres here in Japan....Now I'll have to do a search to see if this book even ever came out here.
I personally think it looks like it'll be absolutely horrible, but I might have to see a little more about the actual story, since it looks like it's going to be another "inspired by" book adaptation.
