The new version of “V” will be a mini-”Firefly” reunion. As we previously reported, Morenna Baccarin has signed on for a role in the upcoming pilot project. Now comes news that Alan Tudyk, who played Wash on the Joss Whedon series has also joined the cast.
Tudyk has been cast as an FBI agent in the new aliens series according to the Visitors Site.
Also joining the cast is former “Smallville” regular Laura Vandervoort. Vandervoort will play Lisa, flirty, younger-looking Visitor who is a guide aboard the Los Angeles mothership.
Even if it's awful, all they need now is Nathan Fillion and I'm hooked.

Instead of re-making "V," how about doing something original and turn Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End" into a mini-series?
