Milano Replaces Weaver for “Ghostbusters” Game
While the new “Ghostbusters” game will feature the vocal talents of most of the original cast from the popular movie, it will be missing two components of the original ensemble–Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver.
Moranis is not participated due to his retirement from acting and Weaver declined to reprise her role from “Ghostbusters.”
Actress Alyssa Milano has been called on to replace Weaver in the upcoming game. Milano won’t be taking over the voice-over work of Weaver’s Dana Barrett from the original films, but will instead play Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn, a new character that has been created to replace “Dana Barrett”.
GameTrailers has an interview with Milano about taking over for Weaver. You can check that out here.
