The fifth season of “Lost” will be no different than the previous four when it comes to how long the season finale will run. According to io9, the fifth season finale of “Lost” will run for two hours. The run time is consistent with the first four seasons of the hit series.
And, in keeping with the tradition of keeping certain scenes of the final secretive and assigning them a code name, producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof will open up a contest to fans to offer up their own code name for the final segments of the season, according to TV Guide On-Line.
In seasons past, that head-scratcher has been dubbed “Bagel” (Walt is abducted by the Others!), “Challah” (Penny’s research team locates the island!), “The Rattlesnake in the Mailbox” (Jack is flashing forward!) and “Frozen Donkey Wheel” (which, quite literally, Ben rotated to move the island).
Submissions can be directed to ABC.com/asklost, with the producers’ pick being announced on ABC’s March 26 podcast.

I think the loophole Jacob and the man in black mentioned is that since they cannot kill each other, they can manipulate other people (like Ben, funny that he also a great manipulator) to kill for them. Anyone remember the part when Ben went into Widmore’s bedroom one night, and told Widmore that since they cannot kill each other, Ben is going to kill Widmore’s daughter instead to avenge the death of Ben’s daughter Alex. Like someone else said earlier, it’s a war/test as always between two forces, not neccessary between good and evil, or even religion vs reason, but it’s like a test on mankind bestowed upon us by natural forces using their human avatars…
