Pilot season is in full swing in Hollywood. And that means the casting mill is in full force.
The cast of “V” continues to grow according to the Hollywood Reporter. The latest addition is former “Firefly” and “Stargate” actress Morena Baccarin. Baccarin has signed on for the role of Anna, who is a leader of the Visitors. Anna will have remarkable knowledge of human culture and media manipulation.
Also, the CW announced that Canadian actress Nina Dobrev will take the lead role in “The Vampire Diaries.” Dobrev will play Elena, the heroine of the series who is pursued by two vampire suitors who are brothers. The new series is based on the best-selling series of novels and is seen as an attempt by the CW to cash in in the success of “Twilight” at the box-office.
ABC announced that the third lead for “The Witches of Eastwick” will be Rebecca Romijn. Romijn will return to ABC, where she’s starred on “Ugly Betty.”
Baccarin will make a excellent Anna, i know it!
