Director Jon Favreau has confirmed that actress Emily Blunt will not be taking the role as the Black Widow in the upcoming “Iron Man 2.” Favreau told E! that a conflict in the actress’ schedule will keep her out of the sequel.
Favreau did not confirm the rumor that actress Scarlett Johansson has been cast to replace Blunt. Last week, rumors sprang up that Johansson was in talks to assume the role.
Favreau also said that while talks are still underway with actor Mickey Rourke and that he hasn’t been officially cast in the film.
