Entertainment Weekly reports that actress Scarlett Johansson is in disucssions with Marvel Studios to replace Emily Blunt in the upcoming “Iron Man 2.”
Blunt was originally cast as Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow for the upcoming sequel.  However, Blunt had scheduled conflicts with another studio and obligation which could prevent her from working on the “Iron Man” sequel.
EW cites anonymous sources saying that Johansson is in negotations to take over the role.
Marvel is reportedly in discussions with other actresses. Marvel will not confirm it to EW, but Blunt’s representatives are still trying to make both projects work.

Goodness. I hope not. It sounds like Marvel Studios has become smitten with celebrity casting.
Theres absolutely no reason why Scarlett woudn't make one hell of a Black Widow.
Celebrity casting. Outside of looking good in the costume, Scarlett brings nothing to the team.
