On Slice of SciFi #196, we brought you news about R.W. Goodwin’s feature film, “Alien Trespass.” An homage to the ’50s sci-fi “scare” films, the movie was searching for a distributor and a release date.
SciFi Wire is reporting that the movie has found a distributor and will open in theaters on April 3.Â
Set in 1957, Alien Trespass chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth.
Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature—the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis (Eric McCormack)—a local astronomer—and with the help of Tammy (Jenni Baird), a waitress from the local diner, he sets out to save mankind.
The movie will be distributed by Roadside Attractions.

I hope it opens in Denver. I SO want to see this. I love these niche sci-fi movies.
