“Michelle is one of the most sought after young actors in the country and we are delighted to announce that she will be joining the team,” said Executive Producer and writer Russell T Davies.

Whether or not Ryan will continue on as a companion or if this is a special one-time guest role remains to be seen.

Look forward to seeing the show. I would not be unhappy if she was the next companion.

I agree. I’m one of the few ppl who actually liked BW, and I happen to think that Michelle is a decent actress.(as long as they keep her natural accent!)

She was horrible on BW, I hope she’s better on Dr Who
