Fox Developing Werewolf Dramedy

December 22, 2008 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV News

Think of it like “Sex and the City” with fangs–literal ones, this time.

Fox is developing a new dramedy called “Bitches” that will center on the lives of four female friends living in the big city who happen to be werewolves.

The project, which has received a script plus penalty commitment from the network, hails from feature writer Michael Dougherty and Warner Bros. TV.

If the project makes it to a series, we could see it on our screens sometime in 2009.

Why bother to compare it to “Sex In The City” when it’s going to be on NETWORK TV? If it was going to be on FX then, well, maybe.
    But Fox?
    Please.
And because it’s Fox, I’m ready to put my money on early cancellation right now.
Hell, I’m surprised “Fringe” is still on.

I’d welcome early acncellation. This sounds like a horrible idea.

    Seriously?
