Fox executives are impressed with the sci-fi comedy pilot “Boldly Going Nowhere” and are inching closer to a series order reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Screenings of the 44-minute pilot were held yesterday for Fox executives.
The half-hour “Nowhere”, created by “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” trio Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton, revolves around the day-to-day life of crew on board a spaceship led by a rogue captain.
Fox is also considering the back-door pilot for “Virtuality” from executive producer Ron Moore. While not in the running for an immediate pick-up, it could get an order for the fall season.

‘Bodly’ sounds like it has some potential; it could be fun. I hope they don’t screw it up…

I hope it will be as much fun as Red Dwarf.
Buzz Ryan says
I am so looking forward to this!
Space Opera!!!! People living in space!!! People bored in space and doing wierd things to kill time! I am trying not to draw comparisons to a life spent on aircraft carriers……
Virtuality… I hope I am wrong but isn’t this like a Holo-Deck of the week episode?
