Glover To Guest on "Heroes"

After playing Lionel Luthor for seven years on “Smallville,” John Glover must be getting comfortable with playing the father to super-villians.

Our sister site, TV Guide On-Line reports that Glover has signed on for a spring guest-role on NBC’s “Heroes.” Glover will play the father of the villanious Sylar according to reports.

The arrival of the new father-figure will pose some challenges for Sylar, who’s already had daddy issues to contend with in recent episodes. “When Sylar meets his father, he’s going to see a path ahead of him that he doesn’t want to take,” a source told Entertainment Weekly’s  Michael Ausiello, who first reported the casting. “He has a lot more in common with his father than he realized.”

“Heroes” will air the final episode of its fall season Monday evening and return on NBC in February.   A new series of webisodes will debut next week.  We’ll bring you details of those later on Slice of SciFi.
