millenium, but they should change the theme music to the robbie williams song.

  2. Jarik on October 26th, 2008 7:48 pm

I would like to see some of the B5 spinoffs, like Crusade, come to the big screen but Warner Bros. wouls screw it up.

  3. Michael Lonergan on October 26th, 2008 9:21 pm

Jericho! That show was one of the best on television! I think it was a huge mistake to cancel it. Maybe a movie on how the civil war turns out?

  4. irritable uterus on October 26th, 2008 10:57 pm

Definitely B5 — telepath war, anyone? — though technically B5 wasn’t a “canceled show,” since it was envisioned from the outset and ultimately executed as a five-year series.

  5. David Risner on October 27th, 2008 12:13 am

It would never happen, but a movie or two to wrap up Jeremiah would be awesome.

  6. Bronzethumb from Australia on October 27th, 2008 12:15 am

It’s a tossup between my favourite shows and the shows that never got a conclusion and deserve one. To get the best of both worlds, I’m gonna have to vote for Journeyman.

  7. Pixcutter on October 27th, 2008 2:45 am

If you liked, Jericho, read Lucifer’s Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.

  8. Jeffrey on October 27th, 2008 4:42 am

Babylon 5 was not “cancelled”, it ended its run. The writer had a story to tell and he told it. Like all good stories, it had a beginning, a middle and and end. And when the end happened, that story was over.

And to the comment about “Crusade”, no thank you. To tell that story properly would take a lot longer than a movie. To properly tell it, it would take longer than three movies.

  9. Ashe on October 27th, 2008 6:14 am

It was a hard choice for me between Journeyman and Enterprise, but I ultimately chose Enterprise because I think it is more suited to a major motion picture. Also, I’d love for them to cancel out the ending from the series and keep Trip from dying for nothing.

  10. Ringsting on October 27th, 2008 8:03 am

Sod a movie I just wish they would uncancel journeyman

  11. Mreen on October 27th, 2008 5:35 pm

Farscape is so perfect for a motion picture - that’s a story of scope, skilled acting/wrting/directing and special effects that deserve to be shown off. It always seemed to be bursting forth from the TV, demanding more. I’ve been wating to see it on the big screen since it’s first trilogy.

Journeyman, I’d love to see more of, but it’s more suited to webisodes or a someone picking up the series again..it was a story meant to be seen in your home, I always felt. Excellent tale of living room drama, scifi concepts, and fantastic tales of people coping with the impossible for the sake of those they loved.

  12. Lilsga on October 28th, 2008 12:58 am

None of the above. I don’t like any of the shows listed.
My vote goes for Stargate Atlantis, which isn’t listed here :)

  13. Morjana on October 28th, 2008 1:15 am

Stargate SG-1! That would so rock.

  14. deb on October 28th, 2008 2:17 am

Since I am a “Gatefreak” Stargate SG-1 for sure!!

  15. Shawn on October 28th, 2008 3:48 am

Stargate sg1.. Woh, they already have 2 movies, why not one that comes to the big screen…

  16. Jamal on October 28th, 2008 5:24 am

The best among all of these is Babylon 5, followed by Farscape, but, my choice is Invisible Man. Among the best and most of the rest, Invisible Man wasn’t allowed the time to become a legend, or at best, a classic. I’d like to have Journeyman back as well, I loved that show.

  17. flowerlady11 on October 28th, 2008 5:50 am

Jericho would make a great movie - It was an awesome series that should never have been cancelled!

  18. Serenitysky on October 28th, 2008 6:28 am

I wish I could have voted for more than one. I’d love Farscape to return on screen as well as B5 (although are the actors still around?), and Moonlight too.
Hey, Atlantis got cancelled, that should be one of the options too.
(I know they are doing a movie, just would have liked to vote for it)

  19. law0621 on October 28th, 2008 6:52 am

I would have to go with Jericho as I feel it was the best show CBS has come up with in forever. The cancellation was unwarranted.

  20. Farscapefan on October 28th, 2008 9:42 am

FARSCAPE!!! It has the most potential to shine on the big screen. No doubt about it.

  21. StaceyDj on October 28th, 2008 11:23 pm

STARGATE SG1 original team……. there were so many loose ends that they didn’t finish off….if they do another movie finish the sam/jack ship…either they are together or not…if you research online the fan base for this is INSANE, it’s ENORMOUS…yet they keep cutting scenes that indicate it..such as the deleted scene in TRIO….and yet they leave a silly scene about who would you rather do? i think the viewers would of preferred hearing Carter say she is seeing someone in DC, it’s complicated , but he is retiring early….but that’s the scene they choose to cut……….since fan make most of the ratings…..geesh louise….stop with the suddle inuendos and just finish the story, and tell it like it is either way…….

  22. Egraine on October 29th, 2008 6:42 am

Farscape…there was so much more story to be told. Couple that with an award winning CGI team and that talented cast…I would be in geek heaven.

  23. Moshow1 on October 29th, 2008 7:59 pm

Jericho… most definitely. This intriguing series could go in so many directions. The second American Civil War? Good vs. Evil? Who wouldn’t want to see this and the splendid cast again!!!!!

  24. Dee on October 29th, 2008 8:31 pm

Jericho has been proven by worldwide fans that it is worthy of their support. The cast and crew did (and will do) a superb job at bringing the viewers a series worth viewing and adding to their collection of DVD - to be viewed over and over and shared with friends. The fans said “NUTS” to CBS, and CBS had no choice but to comply. The fans knew what CBS could not understand - that there is a strong network of Jericho fans that will go to bat for the show. A big screen film would be supported by those same fans worldwide by attendance to the film and by purchasing DVD’s. How could a Major Production company NOT want that kind of support from worldwide fans? We need a Jericho movie!!!

  25. Carolyn on October 30th, 2008 1:55 am

JERICHO!! JERICHO!! JERICHO!! The best show ever. It was a travesty that it got cancelled.

  26. Welcome2CHO on October 30th, 2008 5:44 am

GIve me some Jericho, Jake Green, and Rob Hawkins any day of the week! Intriguing and compelling storyline that was left hanging……CBS’ cancellation of this great show didn’t even allow a scratch of a scratch to how far this story could go.

  27. ejdalise on October 30th, 2008 6:38 am

Mighty slim pickings . . . have to go with Farscape. Which reminds me . . . I should watch the series again.

  28. Ryan Kent on October 31st, 2008 11:11 am

Lets see… I liked Journeyman a lot during its 12 episode life, I loved The Invisible Man since I first saw it so many years ago, Star Trek: Enterprise especially in the latter half of its life, and Stargate SG-1 grew on me a lot… but I have to echo: Farscape. It was simply epic and was cancelled way before its time.

  29. Jack Pot on October 31st, 2008 4:19 pm

Farscape? Only people living in their basements would see that one.

Jericho? Season 1 was great but they ruined Season 2 by turning it into a cheap version of “24″ - that one is damaged beyond repair. Only Michael Moore would do a movie of that series now.

Stargate? Already doing DVD movies. Dont see a big screen movie in the near future. Maybe in 10 years.

Babylon 5? I’d pick that one. One of the best SCI-FI series ever. Though they ended their pre-planned 5 year story arc, a movie based on the events shown in the Season 4 finale “Desconstruction of Falling Stars” where Earth goes through a civil war in 2762 aka The Great Burn and a 2nd movie based on the year 3262 where the Rangers are working to rebuild the Earth. And a 3rd movie based on 1,000,000 years in the future where the Earth is destroyed and the people, now resembling Vorlons, relocate to New Earth.

  30. ejdalise on October 31st, 2008 5:20 pm

Well, I don’t live in my basement, but if them be my folks, I’s gotz to rethink my opinion of them there basement dwellers.

As far as B5 . . . I’ve heard it was good. The shows I remember watching did not hook me, but then so few do.

I guess a movie about it would be less risky for me because if it sucked it would not ruin anything I liked, whereas a poor effort into the Farscape universe would be a disappointment.

  31. Amanda on November 1st, 2008 9:26 am

I really miss JERICHO, so I vote for JERICHO!
I miss Skeet and Lennie and the entire gang…..except for
    Constantino and the new Mayor.
GERALD MCRANEY ROCKED in this show!!
Maybe he would do a movie?

  32. Jane on November 1st, 2008 12:42 pm

Jericho, by far, deserves to, at the very least, be on the big screen. Ideally, it should have been brought back for several more seasons. It has an extremely compelling storyline, wonderful actors, and directors who really know how the make the story zing. It is one of the best series I have ever had the pleasure to watch. I bought the DVD sets of the one and a half seasons, so I would always be able to watch it again.
I will NEVER understand how CBS could cancel such a fine show, and let some of the drivel they call shows, continue on. Jericho. Definitely Jericho!!

  33. nobodysbaby on November 2nd, 2008 12:25 am

Hands down Jericho! Maybe a network will learn how to treat a great show that had great ratings until they busted the momentum with a looooong hiatus in the FIRST season….sheesh, what a bunch of dumb bunnies at CBS!

  34. Callisto on November 2nd, 2008 1:49 am

JERICHO!!! No doubt on that one. :)

  35. dave on November 3rd, 2008 8:50 pm

How about none of the above? I’d like to see Serenity 2. I thought Firefly / Serenity was the best written and acted tv & movie in a long time. I’d also love to see Buckaroo Banzi fights the world crime league. Wouldn’t it be great if George Lucas gave Star Wars episode 7 to James Camerson; episode 8 to Steve Spielberg and episode 9 to Jerry Bruckheimer, so we could see them within the next 6 years?

  36. Kyle Nin on November 6th, 2008 12:28 am

I’m a big supporter of a “Millennium” movie. “The X-Files” got two, so why not have at least one for “Millennium”? I eagerly await the return of Frank Black.

  37. zander712 on November 8th, 2008 12:50 am

    JERICHO! I need more!

  38. Barb7472 on November 10th, 2008 5:59 pm

Jericho! I can’t believe that CBS cancelled it! It wasa great show, much different than most of the garbage out there now.

  39. MREinLa on November 11th, 2008 6:13 pm

Jericho— it was a great show and still has so much to say. The next American Civil War would make a great movie.

  40. Robin on November 12th, 2008 6:01 pm

I think Farscape would translate well to the big screen. And I know the creative team behind it have more stories to tell, since they’ve been working on webisodes and a graphic novel series.

  41. Norm on November 20th, 2008 1:20 am

Wow - Jericho is running away the the votes. Is a great show -

  42. Ben Zabaven on November 20th, 2008 11:02 am

In Braveheart , Mel Gipson said - FREEDOM! In this webside I will say - FARSCAPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

  43. iLoveMuffet on November 21st, 2008 8:44 am

I voted for B5, only the best, most well-written character-driven scifi series ever. But I’d go for Farscape too, which comes in a xlose second to B5.

  44. Nora on November 21st, 2008 11:09 pm

Jack Pot needs to get a better perspective on Scapers. They are in the upper echelon of careers and income (molecular biologist, doctors, an air traffic controller
etc. per the poll done at SAVEFARSCAPE.com). We’re not folks who have never had a date…we have families, careers and a passion for incredible writing.

My vote would be Farscape, followed closely by Firefly and Bab 5 (but not the cheesie straight to DVD fodder J M Strasinski did last year)

  45. whisky on November 22nd, 2008 1:46 am

BTW, Babylon 5 wasn’t canceled. B5 ended when JMS ended the story. Several B5 spinoffs were canceled, though.

  46. hargy66 on December 1st, 2008 11:02 pm

JERICHO a sublime piece of television cut down in its prime

  47. Angela3511 on December 3rd, 2008 4:12 am

Of the ones listed, Stargate SG-1. But there have already been a couple of SG-1 movies, and now Atlantis is going to have a movie (or two) as well.

I’d really like to see a Blood Ties movie to tie up all the loose ends left at the end of the last episode! It’s really not fair to leave it at such an obvious crossroads…

  48. beebull on December 14th, 2008 1:25 am

    Jericho is the best.

  49. stormtoc on February 11th, 2009 9:59 am

JERICHO’s got my vote, so many nutty fans watched, but so many didn’t even give it a chance…I promise you if you did, you wouldn’t regret it!! CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!!!!!

  50. Trevor on March 2nd, 2009 8:37 pm

I voted for flash gordon. I guess not that many people would like to see a new flash gordon movie. Jericho wouldnt be a bad idea either. Another thing I would like to see is a new batman series. A television adaptation of the the Dark Knight.

  51. Deniz on April 19th, 2009 1:17 pm

I vote for Farscape ,Firefly and SG1 these are the best Scifi TV Shows ever.

  52. Carlo on April 22nd, 2009 5:02 pm

Farscape gets my vote. The best TV show of all time.

Farscape has everything, humor, romance, hope, action, comedy, violence, love and tension between characters. And to think they did this in a Scifi show is pretty amazing. Thats why its one of the greatest TV Show of all times for me.

If a TV show can make you laugh and cry, make you feel nearly all kinds of emotions from love to hate, excite and disappoint you, then you could imagine if it hits the big screen, what an awesome movie it would make.

Look out, “Gone With The Wind” and the Oscars

  53. Jan on May 3rd, 2009 3:32 am

A lot of worthy contenders on that list, but my heart belongs to Farscape. I’d gladly fork over my hard-earned cash to see John and Aeryn and the rest of the Moya gang on the big screen.

  54. Sybil on May 5th, 2009 4:38 am

Farscape hands down. I have never loved a tv show the way I have Farscape. The acting is superb and I would love to see it on the big screen.

  55. Todd on May 5th, 2009 3:34 pm

Farscape … they created a world like no other.

  56. dalhectar on May 5th, 2009 5:09 pm

Carnivale… The battle of wonder vs knowledge made flesh.

  57. Melody on May 5th, 2009 10:37 pm

Farscape Forever! It’s by far the best SciFi show ever made. It would be wonderful if it could be brought back as a movie. I would stand in line for a ticket to see it!!

  58. Duwayne E. Sexton on May 22nd, 2009 5:18 pm

without a doubt I would like to see a Farscape movie more than any other . With the new comics , the promise of webisodes a movie would delight so many fans that felt so ripped off when the series was canceled

  59. qkuc on May 26th, 2009 11:16 pm

Farscape movie would be simply the best! for me, :)

  60. Norm on May 27th, 2009 11:11 am

Farscape gets my vote. This would be the ultimate thing they could do. Love the chemistry between John and Aeryn.

  61. Jules on May 27th, 2009 6:52 pm

Without a doubt Farscape gets the thumbs up. I’d be glad to part with my hard earnt cash to buy a movie ticket

  62. Alex on May 28th, 2009 11:04 pm

Out of the options, easily Farscape. I am a huge Stargate fan, but they’ve had many seasons & movies (though I would appreciate it if they’d clear up the whole Sam/Jack relationship too!). Firefly is another one that they cut WAY to short, I think theres much more they could do with that. I also liked Jeremiah, was sad there was only a few seasons, it left me wanting for more. I also liked Babylon 5, and rewatched all the seasons last year, but am still working my way through the various movies that spun off of it.

  63. Holly on May 29th, 2009 11:04 pm

This was a lovely TV series, very well made. Would love to see it hit the big screen. The chemistry between Aeryn and John, was fabulous. Can’t wait for the webisodes.

    Farscape Forever.

  64. Julia on May 30th, 2009 10:06 am

Farscape is the best show ever. I could watch it every day.

  65. John on June 21st, 2009 9:08 am

Farscape is probably the best scifi tv show ever. Would love to see it hit the big screen. It’s got my vote.

  66. Michele (NHAQUEES) on August 21st, 2009 4:45 pm

    JERICHO JERICHO JERICHO JERICHO
Need I say more? Jericho was one of the most mindblowing, real drama shows out there. It gave us a break from all the reality crap out there in tv land, and showed us what a REAL tv show was.

  67. raventoo on August 21st, 2009 8:46 pm

Absolutely Jericho! One of my all-time favorite television shows - and the story-line is wide open for not just one, but several movies… (i.e. one movie idea could be a story parallel to the original series taking place in the western USA - what was happening east of the Mississippi before & after the bombs went off?)

  68. Julie King on August 22nd, 2009 1:03 am

Quality at it’s finest. Please give us this fantastic show in a movie format. The world it created gets in your head and stays there unlike any other TV entertainment I’ve encountered.

  69. Kathy/Gigi on August 22nd, 2009 1:21 am

Jericho! Would love to see what happens next. This show should not have been canceled nor should the network have made them squish a full season into just a few weeks. I want to see Jericho on the big screen. And I sure wouldn’t mind seeing again every week on my TV!

  70. Shannon on August 22nd, 2009 3:12 am

Oh how I would love to see Skeet and Lennie on the big screen together! They so rocked Jericho and we need more of the story!! I would get down on bend knee if they would make a movie out of Jericho!!!!!!!!

  71. Casey's in Illinois on August 22nd, 2009 4:04 pm

JER-I-CHO! JER-I-CHO! JER-I-CHO!!! For sure, no doubt, 100%, definately gotta go Jericho!

  72. Deb on August 24th, 2009 7:07 am

Jericho! There is such a big story to tell yet!
