Max Inflicts Serious Payne on the Talking Chihuahuas
After two straight weeks in a row in the number one slot those talking Chihuahuas have finally been bested by super cop “Max Payne.”
The Mark Wahlberg starrer, “Max Payne,” will knock “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” down to number two by the close of box office Sunday with a modest take of $18 million (USD).
Third will go to “The Secret Life of Bees” from Fox Searchlight Pictures, followed by the new Oliver Stone presidential pic “W” and in fourth is the Shia LaBeouf thriller “Eagle Eye.”
Stay tuned to Slice of SciFi on Tuesday for the Final Top Ten Box Office winners of the weekend.

I’ll try not to give a spoiler here, but if you want to see a Sci-Fi / Fantasy movie, this is NOT it. Talk about deceptive advertising! The movie is NOTHING like what the commercials make it out to be. I am so happy I didn’t pay any money to see it (just some bandwidth *wink*)!
Uh, finally. Seemed like an awful long bullet-time-moment in the charts for me…
i suspect the storyline for Max Payne is a lot more exciting when it’s happening in the form of a video game… except for those few exciting parts that i already saw in the preview, it was a snoozefest
game based movie it is. Not like the game it was interesting to see the movie. Revenge moments are the ones I truly enjoyed. But didn’t understand the after life situations. Like science faction. Other than that tremendously made movie watch it my self at http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com clear and easy for me it is.
