You can’t really put Crusade up there. It never really got a chance to get going.

    B5 is the best.

Crusade ran for 13 episodes and then was replaced during its mid-season hiatus.

@Sam: No, TNT cancelled Crusade BEFORE it aired. It never had a chance.

Thanks for the correction Jeff. I honestly thought it made it on the air for 11 episodes…..wishful thinking on my part. ;) In fact, I just watched (again, and again and again) all the episodes of the existing Crusade from my Netflix que and still can’t figure out for the life of me why the network didn’t go for it. Good stuff….not B5 good, but close.

    I can’t wait for Changeling!

    Psst…

The correct title is “Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future”. Appreciate seeing it on your poll even though I know it will never stand up to B5. :)

Just a little correction. It’s “Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future”, not “…Soldiers of Fortune”. And hey, thanks for including it on the list!

For the record it is Captain Power and the Soldiers of the FUTURE, which also sadly never got the recognition it deserved. :(

My vote unfortunately had to go to Babylon 5, because the man is a GENIUS to think up a 5 year story arc just like that!

Thanks guys. Correction has been made.

Much like the great Robo Gerson Captain Power has been extremely under appreciated.

    Power On, for the Resistance!

I’m sorry I didn’t see Cursade when it first aired (not that I could have saved it). I had given up on Babylon 5 so I didn’t pay attention to it at the time. I caught it in reruns and it was a very good series. Maybe it’s the Firefly effect (never had time to get bad), but it was well written and had some very thought-provoking episodes and some humorous ones (like the X-Files spoof where alien investigators didn’t believe humans existed). So that show get’s my vote. The New Twilight Zone also has some really good episodes. Hope Straczynski gets back in the game soon.
