Fan-Built, Working Landspeeder

August 31, 2008 by Sam Sloan   || Category: Cool Stuff

A fan of George Lucas’ Star Wars universe named Daniel Deutsch decided he could make his own piece of Star Wars coolness and has built a working, electric landspeeder, the same kind used by Luke Skywalker on Tatooine. The only difference, unlike the one from the set, this one works in the real world without the need of any added special effects. The downside? It’s top speed is only 25mph. But, that doesn’t take away from its cool.

Visit creator Daniel Deutsch’s Website to see more of his creations on a slide-show, plus there’s a video!

So until he gets it up to 88 mph, he’ll have to keep his other ride.
