Tropic Thunder Blows Out Death Race
Say what you want about Ben Stiller and company in the satiric comedy “Tropic Thunder,” but that film appears to have the chops for remaining box office gold for a second weekend in a row completely blowing “Death Race,” starring Jason Statham and Joan Allen, off the box office raceway. In fact,to the surprise of many, “Death Race” even failed to secure the second spot but came in third behind the Anna Faris, Colin Hanks spoof about a Playboy bunny who was tossed out of Hef’s mansion titled “The House Bunny.”
Rounding out the top 5 spots will be “The Dark Knight” still showing strength and the George Lucas animated feature “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
Slice of SciFi will have the final Top 10 box office winners for you this Tuesday.
