The WB Makes a Comeback

August 20, 2008 by Sam Sloan   || Category: On the Net, TV

The WB is coming back, not to your television set, but to your computer screen.

On August 27, 2008, Warner Bros. brings back its WB Network in a big way online with full episodes of classic SF and genre-related shows like “Babylon 5,” “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel,” Roswell,” “Smallville” and…..wait for it “FIREFLY,” just to name a few. The WB will also be presenting some all-new content from VIP producers like McG (”Terminator Salvation”) and Josh Schwartz (”Chuck”).

Currently the site is running its Beta module but on the 27th go to TheWB.com for the big premiere to revisit some of your favorite characters and be introduced to some new ones.

Hopefully the new site will have all the episodes from these series.

Babylon5 and Firefly. Definitely two of the top 5 Scifi shows of all time!

This replay of old dead scifi shows will certainly make me add it to my channel surfing. If nothing else is on, these are great time fillers. I bet a lot of folks will agree.

While I’m always glad to see Babylon 5 promoted in any way, it was never on the WB.

Never said it was. The WB will simply be adding it to their growing list of SF and genre-related online programming, just like Firefly.
