Warner Bros. is breathing life into the 1960s popular child program “The Banana Splits,†Daily Variety reports.
The franchise will see new shorts and videos airing on Cartoon Network and its Web site. Future DVD and CD releases are also planned as part of the show’s multiplatform update, the trade says.
