Dark Knight Already Setting Records

We predicted it, critics said it would happen, director Christopher Nolan and actor Christian Bale felt it in their bones and now it has come to pass, “The Dark Knight,” the newest film in the long-running Batman saga, has broken two box office records and it’s only in its second day of opening.

In the early preview of the film late Thursday night it garnered an astonishing $18 million and on its first full official day this Friday it has already taken in over $66 million breaking the previous record holder, last years “Spider Man 3.” If ticket sales continue as expected, “The Dark Knight” is predicted to surpass this years holder of the prize, “Iron Man.”
