Chan Honored With Museum

July 11, 2008 by Sam Sloan   || Category: Other

Construction has begun on a museum honoring the life and achievements of worldwide superstar and martial arts action movie hero Jackie Chan, now 54. It is being built in Shanghai.

The new museum will house props and costumes from Chan’s movies, photos and other memorabilia, according to the star’s official Website said.

Earlier this week Chan was on hand for the traditional groundbreaking ceremony and pitched the first shovel into the ground that will get work underway.

The Jackie Chan Museum is expected to open its doors to the public in October 2009.
