Now that Hollywood seems to be fully onboard the Graphic Novel (comic book) adaptation bandwagon there have been some really good and very bad films. Some like the fact that directors drift from the source material and others think it is a big mistake. Tell us how you feel with one of the choices listed below.

    It really depends on the “drift”. There’s a big difference between accepting that somethings from the comic won’t translate well to the screen to changing the central core of the character. Bryan Singer in X-Men making Toad less sycophantic and more menacing was an example of a good change.
