J.C. Hutchins on Slice of SciFi Show June 28

June 26, 2008 by Sam Sloan   || Category: Coming to Slice

Our guest this week is author J.C. Hutchins, author of the highly popular podiobook “7th Son.”

After nearly 2,000,000 downloads, “7th Son” will be coming to print Summer 2009.

All three novels in the series, “Descent,” “Deceit” and “Destruction” — are completed and available for free download. Thanks to the support of 7th Son fans worldwide, “Descent” will be the first to be published as a written novel in 2009 by St. Martin’s Press.

J.C. will talk about his award winning project, the excitement of seeing his work making print, and much more.

The show will also have news covering a new “Hidden Frontier” project, YouTube news and something from Spain from our International News Desk.

We’ll cover the new Brendan Fraser Mummy film, Eddie Murphy’s latest sci-fi comedy; updates about casting of new SF and genre-related shows for the upcoming fall season, as well as a new project from the pen of producer Shaun Cassidy.

The Future looks solid with a time travel flick and “The Avengers.”

Of course we have loads of contests and special segments so be sure to tune in to Slice of SciFi this weekend for our great guest J.C. Hutchins. The show is repeated on XM-Satellite Radio’s Sonic Theater on July 7.

    Gosh, that is swell. ;)

I’ve really enjoyed Seventh Son, more than a little because of JC’s enthusiasm and dedication. It’ll be great to hear him talk to someone who actually responds in real time rather than we faceless millions in the clone army.
